They serve as a haven for electrical equipment by protecting the electrical system, including fibre optic devices, electrical wire, routers, switches, and other components, from the dangers caused by moisture, high temperatures, and humidity.

- Insulated and tested to 10KV to protect the user against shock caused by faulty equipment, poorly connected, or non-connected cables.
- Pull out mounting area to allow for easy mounting and connections of cables, clips or connectors.
- Safety interlocked doors, and warning beacon system to show status of test and when the test area is safe to access.
- Designed for easy integration with Fluke, Seaward and Megger Testers, as well as bespoke test boxes.
